LEGO 6080 King’s Castle (released in 1984) is one of the most iconic sets from the classic Castle theme. Built in light gray bricks, it features a large, fully enclosed fortress with four corner towers, a central courtyard, and a working drawbridge. The modular wall sections can hinge open for expanded play, a defining feature of early Castle sets. The set includes twelve minifigures—eight Lion Knight soldiers, two archers, and two mounted knights—making it a richly populated medieval scene. Accessories such as shields, swords, spears, and flags enhance the atmosphere. Celebrated for its timeless design and playability, 6080 remains a fan-favourite and a cornerstone of LEGO’s medieval era.
